lately No. 2

Savannah has been exceptionally beautiful as of late.  Can I please freeze frame time??

P.S.  I recently chopped all my hair off and I'm seriously liberated, why didn't I do this ages ago?? I finally feel wonderful without my long, wild, mane of a comfort zone.

Some collage art for your daily viewing pleasure.  I imagine the woman that creates this to be a cute little frenchie, with round framed glasses and a wavy bob.  And I'm gonna guess she likes to sit in coffee shops and maybe she has a few tats here and there. I could be totally off, but thats my imaginary prognosis.

kaleidoscope

RUSSH's Kaleidoscope looks.  I really like the way they styled print on print.  Its flea market-esque and I want it all.

werk diary

Projects for my portfolio, Free People, and some of my senior collection happenings.

All just little bits of things I've been working on lately.  I just got out of my last class of the quarter and it feels so insanely wonderful to be free.  Its very liberating to know that the next 13ish days of my life are all mine.

knit wit

Upon having my final senior critique of the quarter, my Senior I professor suggested that I knit gloves or hand coverings for all of the looks.  I immediately started thinking of things that could go with my collection and I like the idea of a hand accessory that mimics a glove.

I immediately thought of Rodarte and the knits that adorned some of their very first collections.  Luckily I actually found a DIY for a Rodarte-esque sweater on the blog Park & Cube.  I'm excited to start playing around with mohair yarns and loose stitches!  I thought it might be interesting to knit some other things into them as well maybe strips of velvet?? Ahh! So much to do!
